DFFD is thrilled to announce Into the Jungle Fashion showcase. There has never been an event quite like this in South Dallas. Into the Jungle will celebrate the young, rising fashion artists of Dallas. This hybrid of theater, dance, and fashion is a full collaboration where all art-forms will work together to create a unique one-of-a-kind interactive audience experience.

Into the Jungle will feature upcoming designer Monsieur Alexander, along with top designers and recent Wade College graduates Taylor Sharper and Jay Romero. These designers will bring to life different elements of the jungle through fashion. The pieces will be showcased in a live performance, using theatrical elements (including music, lighting, and dance) to bring the audience into the jungle and on the journey.

Into the Jungle will take place at the South Dallas Cultural Center on September 10th 2022 at 7:30pm immediately followed by a meet and greet with our designers, VIP guests and Sponsors.

All guest will be asked to wear something animal print, so they to can be apart of the show, for you just never know what may happen out in the audience.

Into the Jungle will also be turned into an open exhibition at the South Dallas Cultural Center. Here the public will be able to come for free to experience the spirit of the animal though fashion.

Exhibit date TBA.

“DFFD is changing the way we show and display fashion through all forms of art. Don’t miss this show, I promise it’s like no other show ever!”

The Dallas premiere of the exhibition Into the Jungle births a new legacy for Dallas Future Fashion Designers. The exhibition brings to life the world of the tropical jungle-from the bold and brassy big cats, to the beautiful blushing Bird of Paradise. All forms of jungle life can be seen through the eyes of designers Taylor Sharper, Jose Martinez (JRomero), and Monsieur Alexander.

Within the South Dallas Cultural Center Exhibit Hall will live our Jungle Oasis. Guest will be immersed Into the Jungle as they journey through the exhibit.  With inspiration taken from every form of life, the exhibition includes over 20 original haute couture garments, as well as photographs, sketches and accessories.
