Event Description:

There has never been an event quite like this in South Dallas. Into the Jungle will celebrate the young, rising fashion artists of Dallas. This hybrid of theatre, dance, and fashion is a full collaboration where all artforms will work together to create a unique one of a kind interactive audience experience. We are currently working with the fashion department at Wade College. Their top designers will be selected by a professional panel to design a collection based on this year's theme. The pieces will be showcased in a live performance/exhibition along with Monsieur Alexander, using theatrical elements (including music, lighting, and dance) to bring the audience into the jungle and on the journey. We have confirmed Saturday September 10, 2022 (the start of Fashion Week) with the South Dallas Cultural Center's managing director. Michael Childs, Dallas theater director, and choreographer will direct the live performance. Monsieur Alexander will act as head of fashion design.
